Hello everyone,
Last Sunday we got back from Florida (real late Sunday night). We had a great time at Disney. The two boys did so well on the trip. They rode very nicely, and behaved wonderfully. I was/am so proud of those two boys. We checked into our hotel on the 24th, and checked out last Saturday. Sunday we went to Magic Kingdom, Monday was Hollywood Studios (where we had a character breakfast and "met" Leo and June from Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, and Special Agent Oso), Tuesday was Epcot, Wednesday and Thursday were Magic Kingdom, and Friday was Epcot again (for the food and wine festival). On Saturday we checked out of the hotel and headed to Panama City, FL to see our best friend Kat. Kat hung out with us until about 2:30 on Sunday morning. Sunday we got up about 6:30ish and got ready and headed out for home at 7:30. We got home about 12:30 am on Monday morning. Monday was a "recovery day" or lack of because we spent it unloading the van and doing laundry.
Yesterday I took Micah in for his 9 month check up, and he only weighed 15.4 lbs. The doctor went ahead and sent me in for lab work because he's still very low (just on the curve now) for his weight. I tried to talk her into waiting until his 1 year appointment but she said that we've been trying to get him to gain weight for 3 months, and it hasn't worked, and she'd hate to wait another 3 months if it's something really causing him to not gain weight. She said something about a possibly thyroid issue that may be causing the lack of weight gain. The lab technician mentioned testing of the celiacs as well. I hope that there's nothing wrong health wise that's causing it, but if it is then we'll figure it out and start treating it. Other than the hard time gaining weight Micah is fine.
Lat month I took Jeremiah in for his 3 year check up and everything is great with him. He weighed 29.5 lbs. He's growing and developing it just fine, and perfectly healthy. Things are going well, I can't complain. God is truly wonderful and blesses me daily with the things my kiddos do or things my hubby does. Thank you God.
